I’m looking into adding sound to my 0-4-0 Bachmann Porter. I was wondering what sound decoder options were out there. I’m planning on adding a little tender to house the decoder and speaker. What have others put in their Porters? Is the sound somewhat correct for the 0-4-0?
Thanks for any input.

Randy,
Friend of mine installed I think it was a MRC or Digitrax sound (bug) into a very small tender/waterbunker, its pulled behind the Porter. both are set the the same address once everything is done. He said the decoder couldnt be addressed separately.

Thanks for the replies guys. I guess Soundtraxx light steam seems to be the best sound for the Porter. Playing with the levels of certain sounds seems to be the answer. It would be cool if someone produced a sound just for small 0-4-0 engines. More authentic to the size of the engine I mean.
