Rich, very beautiful and intriguing picture.
Danny, your Venice shots remind us how bewitching this unlikely town is.

Very cool shots Danny. Looks like it was a great day out and about in a wonderful city. I always liked Carnival.

Here's an old film shot.

Thanks guys... I only had about 6 hours in Venice to shoot and it was so crowded. I also took one day off work in Bologna (sent the salesman out while I was lazy) and had a nice day.... broke my mini-tripod. . Danny

Here are the guys from Teeswater Concrete playing in their dirt pile at the Bruce County Heritage Association's steam show last August.

It's less romantic than Venezia, but quite interesting, Steve. These are really nice "engines".

Yes, it is. According to the information board the company sets up the steam shovel is an Erie Model B o it's very similar to the Jordan model. All weekend long it digs dirt and dumps in the waiting International KB-5 truck which takes the dirt and dumps it in the pile in front of the steam shovel. I have more photos of this dance.
P.S. Frederic, I guess this is why I am still single.
