On July 22, 2007 I posted my first entry about the Main Street kit. Today, a mere 15 months later, I am pleased to present my completed Logging Camp diorama sans the loco and donkey part. I have to confess that I am a bit amazed I finished it. You have followed the threads and seen the individual parts as it came together and your comments and support have helped me struggle through it. I could take 2,000 shots and each one would be different so I tried to select some that will give you a sense of how complex the final product became. Lots of stuff packed into the 2 ft by 4 ft board. I will bring it to the cs08 thing back east and those that will be there can paw the thing to your hearts content - for now, just sit back and imagine. . .

A wonderful build of an exceptional kit. I enjoyed following your thread and always picked up some new techniques along the way.

Outstanding, Elliott! I have been especially drawn to the 'Main Street' structures since Brett first released the kit, But seeing the whole diorama with the 'Essentials' structures added really highlights the whole theme! Brett did an excellent job of designing the structures, and you have done an excellent job of assembling them and presenting them in a cohesive scene!

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm a busy man. I have a railroad to run.

Elliott- Now that is some fantastic modelling! I have followed it since the beginning and what a pleasure it has been. Congratulations, thanks for sharing the build, and we really appreciate that you are going to haul it to CSS08 so that we can see it in person. Mike E.

It's been a great 15 months, Elliott. I have enjoyed every minute of it and looked each day to see if you had any new postings. You have done a fine job over all and the whole thing came together as a beautiful diorama. I'm really looking forward to seeing it in person at CSS08 so I can check out all the little mini-scenes that you have set up. Bravo.

Great kits, Brett.

Elliott, You have put together a group of structures into one fantastic diorama, I went back thru the original thread and read where you said you started gluing down the dirt and were waiting for more, does that mean that you are using something like Highball products and if that is the case what variety did you use?
There are tons of little scenes that I can't wait to see up close, and in person. Thanks for all your hard work, Pat

Elliott, I can only echo what everyone before me has already said.
This is the most outstanding compilation of dioramas into one fantastic scene.

That's a true work of art Elliot, you are a Rembrant of Scale Model Railroading! Each scene is so vibrant and detailed...just awesome! I will find myself reviewing these photos often, I'm sure.
