Very nice and interesting technique, Verne. The results are quite good.

Well, I spent the weekend 'modeling' at my Mac...building a new website. I will be adding more content, but I have some photo albums and step-by-step project summaries up already. Come on by and visit!
EDIT: the website was taken down 12/5/2011 when my ISP service provider cancelled personal websites. I have a new website here:

Verne-
Great makeover on the website. One of the images in the Banner slideshow graphically illustrates how little you have to be concerned with coupler height when using link & pin. Your layout is developing a unique character, and the website compliments it very nicely.

Thank you, Mark. Your website was one I studied when working on my new design. My wife came in while I was browsing it and remarked how nice your site looks.
Yes, the link and pin couplers are more forgiving when it comes to height mismatch...the shop crew hasn't gotten around to lowering that offending water car. As they say, 'if it works, don't fix it!"

Verne, I have not posted in a while but I just wanted to say I really like your new web site. I'm glad to see you are still offering your free gift. It is the best gift of all and I hope others will take you up on the offer. Keep on modeling Brother!!!

Thanks, Randy...it's not my free offer, but it is for a limited time!
I created the site using RapidWeaver, and discovered today that some of the pages weren't rendering properly on Internet Explorer browsers (I switched to a Mac back in October). They looked fine in Safari, the Mac browser. I think I fixed the most obvious problems, and hope to keep pumping out content over the next couple of weeks.

See a small problem tho, with the new site you moved your pictures so I get all kinda red crosses in this thread...

Thank you, I reformatted the step-by-step project pages to work better in IE.

Yes, I need to go back and re-direct the photo links. I had to clear away some of the old content to make way for the new, but most of the images on the post should be restored soon.
