Good Morning All,

I found this link (http://www.mayang.com/textures/) to a free high resolution photo site displaying detail shots of textures, and thought this might be of some use to those fine scalers who want to get up close and personal with various examples of natural and man-made items items surrounding us.

Check out the "metal" link, I've never seen such a complete collection of rust, scratches, dings, welds and blisters in my life.

The Paint Effects, Stone, Brick, Conctete and Wood-Bark links (plus MANY others) are also very cool.

Hope this can be used by some folks.

Just thinking......might be an idea to print some off and create some background structures or possibly interior walls......Hmmmm.....

Stan

PS... The site says the pics are free to use for all ( just don’t sell ‘em)

Thanks for the link, Stan. That's a neat site. I looked at the photos for stone quite a bit. There are some interesting colors and patterns to the wall samples they had.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm a busy man. I have a railroad to run.
