The May Photo Contest is now officially open. Please post your entries in this thread.

The theme again will be "Model Railroading."

This thread is for photo entries only. Please do not post questions or discussion-type comments here.

The deadline for entries is 8:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 20, when the voting will begin. If we have more than 15 entries, we will have a run-off poll to determine the final winner.

OK. Bring 'em on!

Great photos so far guys.

Here is my attempt at this.

It is my two LNE Atlas S-2s numbers 611 & 616 leading a local freight out of the portal of the Tunnel Under the Mountain.

OK, after a very hard five minutes spent in the train room setting the scene for my entry, here it is:

Unnoticed by the crew of the Class 37 goods run on the slow Up line, the Hogwarts Castle blasts past on the fast line on its way northwards.

One day I will have a layout I can take pictures on!

Here are a couple of Atlas GP40s on my latest diorama. It's 2' by 1'. The modern warehouse cladding at the rear had each vertical plasticard strip individually applied - all 136 of them! Hope you like it.
