Just more clutter for the scrap yard. As best I can tell this is a 34 Plymouth or Dodge. Any car buffs out there please feel free to correct me.

Junk pile.

Nader was wrong, a little wax and that Corvair will buff right out.

Thanks Carl, I'll plant it tomorrow for the open house.

Another fine mess you've gotten yourself into!

Here's my recently finished 1965 Corvair Corsa.

Thanks George. Check out the O Scale Layout. I just placed them into the scrap yard.

Excellent replication of junkers, Frank.

Frank Palmer Posted - 03/13/2019 : 08:55:47 AM
Dave laser cut them from floral oasis foam cut to about 1/8" thick. You have to handle them with care - very fragile. Mum is the word on the doors.

Frank, a couple of questions'... Where did you get those cinder blocks from, and what happened in France behind those suicide doors'''
Frank Palmer Posted - 03/12/2019 : 4:13:04 PM
Thanks Mike, anything I can do to keep y'all motoring along.

Jerry, no it's Jim the junk man. The name of the place is Hopes Brother's Scrap Yard.

Excellent junkers and interesting discussion you sparked.

Frank Palmer Posted - 03/12/2019 : 09:55:55 AM
Thanks Mike, O-Scale.
Tyson Rayles Posted - 03/12/2019 : 09:26:41 AM
Awesome as always Frank, what scale is this again?
Frank Palmer Posted - 03/11/2019 : 5:37:01 PM
Louis, thanks for the conformation. It was a Russian kit and what a pain in the butt to build. The body was in 5 parts and they were all butt edge to fit together. No aligning pins or anything.

Jim, love those suicide doors. When I was stationed in France in the mid-60’s a lot of guys bought “Gangster Car” Citroens with suicide doors. More on those suicide doors when we sit down for a couple of beers.

'33 Plymouth with those 'much sought after' suicide doors. In 1:1, that car is worth some big bucks. (although not in that shape  )
