Hi everyone, I recently finished this kit from "Laser Art Structures" Kit No.600 the Dubois House.
My bright paint colours were inspired by some of the older turn of the century cottages that I see up north.
I also built the Laser Art No.631 Cadilac garage to go with it.
The cupola on top was an added detail that did not come with the kit.

I also used these structures for my Christmas greeting this year.

I think that was one of their earlier kits. Maybe they got better.

Thanks! John, Ted & Håkan, for taking the time to say something nice about this model.

John, these kits were supposed to be easier to build than other laser kits.
I hope some of their kits came out that way.

Ted, Happy New Year to you, and your family as well!

Håkan, Happy New Year to you, and your young family!

Thanks, Chuck!
Yes that's the plan, I hope to have an older beautiful tree lined neighbourhood one day.
Just wish that one day, would hurry up and get here!

While your kit came out awesome, I've had some very mixed results with Branchline Trains/Laser Art kits. A chunk of it has to do with my skills. In looking through the photos I see things I would've done differently.

Being a Rutland guy, I do have the Shoreham Covered Bridge yet to do. Perhaps I'll have better results.

Railrunner130, that's quite a body of work that you have completed there.
We all learn things when seeing someone else's modelling of a kit that has also been built previously by yourself.
You just need to learn how to apply those lessens learned to your next model.

Thanks for sharing your model work with us!

Craig, with a footprint that large in O scale, it reminds me why I model in HO scale.

Thanks! Mike, Craig & Carl, for your posts and kind words.

Mike, I think Bill & I have been having a good influence on you.

Craig, I also purchased the Tower house kit.
These kits in O scale must be huge!
