The TML shops just received parts to build a new top secret weapon from the War Ministry. If trials go well the Ministry said they will order thousands of units. Under heavy guard the shipping tarp was pulled of the body to be used for the trials.

TML Management suspect that the Ministry have also sent parts to other Railroads for trials!

If those other Railroads want to join in this thread so be it.

I sent these to BigLars already, but thought the rest of the group might be interested.

Bill still working on the guns.

The decals came with the Jan 2003 MRR magazine. You can still get them at Micro Scale

Nice job there brudda!!!
I like the color & mild dusting...decal work

What happened to the MG?

Looks great. Where did you get the WW1 soldier figure shown in the last picture? I've been looking for 1/48 US WW1 figures and have not found any.

Thanks

The figure is actually WWII British / Canadian. I found two of them on ebay about five years ago
(see the first page) I have been trying to hunt down 1/48 WW1 figures for years. I want to build a full trench railway at some point in time, it may end up being 1/35 scale.

Ron,
Thank you!

Ron,

All I can find is the Tamiya WW2 British figures. I have looked at wargaming figures but they are either way to small or way to large. Looks like the Tamiya set will have to do.

Thanks,

David B.

Larry,

The "Dashing Turtle" looks great, looking forward to seeing the details added.

Thank you all!

Dallas,
I have some detail ideas to add to this little critters charm.

Les,
I thought about painting it black and making it like the car in the end of the movie Animal House.

Very nice work.

Geezer could loan you some guns ...

Love it! Dashing, smashing and all that stuff. The effort to switch to a Spud drive paid off nicely with that open "turret" cab -- look forward to seeing the final details.

More progress, working on the couplers and roof today.

The roof and body are currently both removable.
