I inished this kit up recently. Dont have a layout yet so no name boards etc. Ill get to that someday.
Fellow forum member Dave Mason(Mabloodhound) manufactures these fantastic kits. I used Boulder Valley Trucks on the car. No affiliation to either manufacturer, just a really happy customer.
Let me know what you think. Its not perfect, but as a second rolling stock build Im very happy.

Wes- The construction and the weathering are first rate. Makes me want to ditch these structures and dioramas for awhile and do rolling stock. Great job!

I like the color.
What is it?
Weathering is great, what is your technique?

Excellent work Wes, really nice modeling, construction, colour and weathering all look great.
You did a great job weathering the trucks, I need several sets for my log cars so I'll be contacting Dallas shortly.
Looks to be a good looking kit, may have to investigate the line further.

Jeff, all of the freight cars use the same frame and they are a scale 22' long, 6'6" wide and 7" high less trucks and couplers. The Hopper car is slightly larger as are the passenger cars.

Nice work. What are the dimensions of the car?

Wes, that came out real nice. I like the door runners you added. Sure gives a chance to have operating doors.
Nice color too. Colorado & Southern look, with excellent fading.

Nice construction and weathering. something that might look good on the inside is some hay/debris brushed up into the corners. With the open framing this should be visible and make a very interesting detail.

Looks very good.
