Well, from a guy that has three sub woofers in the home theater; I am not willing to say anything is heavy in base in the model RR world. It is as good as any speaker that we can fit in an on30 engine.

Larry
What is the sound like with the Exciter. Is it bassy or full range?
Thanks

Bill,
Still working on it, as normal I stop and start.
I will work on it some this week and take a new picture and add weight.

Ron,
The entire space under the hood was open. I did not drill any holes in the body or floor. I used an excitor speaker and it uses the plastic it is attached to as it's speaker cone.

Okie Dokie ..

Let' see. 38mm is 1.4961-in. Ummm .. x 87.1 gives us .. uhhhh .. 130.31 inches .. and .. mmmmm .. dividing by 12 gives us 10' 10". The longest wb for the Stanton drive is the model 1220 .. at 10'. Huh. The longest Stanton drive is still some 10" too short .. that's .215-in

Ok. Just was playing a bit. A 14mm wheel .. that's .5512-in .. or .. a 48-in wheel. The Stanton comes with a max 42-in wheel looks like. NWSL might .. have a 45-in wheel (13.132mm) .. but my curiosity ran out suddenly. :)

Looking good, Larry. The wheel base difference isn't noticeable in the picture.

Not really Tom. I was just curious about the center to center of the model .. as .. (as often the case) was curious to see if I could match that with a Stanton drive .. since they are variable.

Looking good, Larry! Did you have to mess with the drive mechanism to tweak it, or did it always perform this way?

The Drive I have was not tweeked other than changing it to DCC and a little oil.

I must stop running the little d-cel and finish her up.

Larry
