Posted - 05/20/2012 : 06:24:07 AM I forgot ..... Craig, another thin g you have to consider is that most of the regular dcc climax's go for more than $125.00 alone....and if you want to install tsunami sound as well, thats another $120.00 minimum. Also, if you dont install the decoder yourself, thats another $75 or so.....I guess you can see where I am going.... Rest asured, you got a good deal!!!!!!!! |

Posted - 05/19/2012 : 9:43:11 PM Craig - Shay gear problems are fixable with steel gears from NWSL. I have heard of a few Climax problems, but not near as bad as the shays. I have 6 Shays, 3 of which needed gear replacement. My new climax is painted black, unlettered.....Maybe I will have it by next weekend and will let you know how I make out. |

Posted - 05/19/2012 : 10:52:38 AM Craig How could you not have gotten a good deal. They sell for the low $200.00 with Tsunami Sound. Shipping is never included even when you buy retail. If they have more at $125.00 I'm in for 2! Mike M

Posted - 05/19/2012 : 01:47:15 AM It sounds like you paid around the going rate (which is less that 1/3 of the MSRP!) so you got a good deal surely?
It's not like you got ripped off. |
