Being on page 100 of the beginning thread I start a new and blank one for all that's coming up in my modeling adventures.
Would like to thank you all for the support in the last 1 and a half year. With over 120.000 views in the 2 threads I have on this forum I'm really honoured and makes me feel I'm on the right track.
Working on an advanced trackplan with all the additions I have in mind I will post it in short time..
Thank you all my RRL friends !!

Cool vid(s), Marty

Terrain and structures look great as one rolls by. What a feeling of accomplishment you must have.

Thanks for the inspiration.

Congrats on the trestle run, looks 'like ya planned it that way'! Russ

Great shot on the trestle Marty......just needs a classic posed engineer leaning way out of that open window looking at the track ahead!

Great stuff. Really like how this turned out. It is a good lesson in fixing things that don't work and looking for the opportunities that present themselves as a result.

Cheers,

I like the new developments caused by the rearranging... been there with the Forneys :0)
My PSX-AR has performed without a single hiccup from day one, throwing the turnout and detecting polarity flawlessly, so if your AR1 won't behave, I can recommend the PSX highly...

That final shot is a real treat Marty.
milocomarty Posted - 03/05/2013 : 6:32:12 PM
Think I'm starting to get pretty happy with all the changes. Trains run fine forward and backwards through the loop and wye. So I went on with the bridge and started to throw in ties. Leave the flextrack ones as a spacer inbetween. Works 2 ways, spacer for the wooden ties and as a spacer for the track. After nailing, if I can find the nails back, I'll cut away the plastic ties...

and the new situations given me some new photograpic angles..............I like it !

Yeah, it's a funny thing. Read something about chanching Opsw18 on the booster tho ?
Geezer Posted - 03/04/2013 : 5:31:45 PM
Good to see you got them moving through the
loop without much trouble Marty....Sound good too.
About the AR-1...persnikity to say the least! Mine will be working fine
for weeks, then in a middle of a run, it acts goofy &
I have to mess with it.....damifino!
milocomarty Posted - 03/04/2013 : 4:46:23 PM
So here's the vid, only hiatus in the run is the need to finetune the tripcurrent on the AR-1

Thanks guys for the kind words ! Pretty happy at the moment, as all trains run through with no derailment. Most stubborn lady was my OF forney but she runs through the loop with a empty unloaded Bmann flat on het ass with no trouble. Uploading a short on train video right now, post it when done...
wesleybeks Posted - 03/04/2013 : 09:11:37 AM
Sorry to hear about all the alterations Marty.

But like the others have said, the rework of the area is going to look even better.
Geezer Posted - 03/04/2013 : 08:34:01 AM
Marty - nice recovery with the "fat forneys"....
I think the scenery will be better, not only because
it will look good, but also because you wont have to
worry about the rear end of the forneys.
The other scene, the trestle worked out good too....
I dont think the timbers are all that big....some
on my trestle are very large too. Keep it going
Marty.....

Sorry to hear about the aggravation, of course ... but you've done such a great job with the scenic contours and features that it seems likely that you'll end up with something "even better" as the landscape is reshaped to allow the railroad to run properly. Best of luck with the changes!

Hay, mistakes happens. I looks like you're recovering well.
