Posted - 10/16/2009 : 7:11:25 PM Hi guys! I am new to the forum and never done this before. So I thought I would jump right in and post a little modeling. I am a member of the Norhtern California Narrow Gaugers module club (see other topic setup by John Cooper). I am the guy with the two modules reflecting the logging service facility andf the mine scene.
I am trying to upload some recent modeling for view and comment. However, Pics will not load (site under maintenance??) Is this a regular thing or am I doing something wrong. Help?

Posted - 04/20/2013 : 2:31:28 PM Scott, love the Acme rocket and coyote-shaped hole in the rock wall - very clever! Your water wagon and structures are spot-on.
I always like seeing saguaros, whether 1:1 or in miniature...they have been virtually ignored by modelers for a long time! |

Posted - 04/20/2013 : 2:03:12 PM Splendid work, Scott. Looks like Saguaro Cactii are quite trendy these days. They seem to flourish on many layouts. |

Posted - 04/20/2013 : 1:42:18 PM Too many people having fun, so I thought I would jump back in with a "wedding" (cake) update. A number of you have inspired me to continue working on my micro layout with a dessert :) mining theme. I am trying to get the display ready for John's Barn meet next week. Not sure I will accomplish my goal, but will have at least his much done. I have a lot of detailing to do - junk, barrels, people, more desert vegetation, etc. But so far I like where this little test diorama is going.

Posted - 03/30/2013 : 7:24:17 PM I love your scenery, Scott. This waterfall is outstanding. The structure near the bridge reminds me of a charming building on the Red Stag Lumber company. An awesome sight from near the outhouse! |

Posted - 03/30/2013 : 7:20:33 PM Just thought I would put out there that I will be showing my home layout on April 27th during John Cooper's "Barn Meet 2013" in Penryn , CA. I live about 10 minutes from John in Rocklin, CA and usually do a couple of tours during the day. Hope to see some of you there. John can weigh-in on location and time of his meet. (it is somewhere else on this forum but I can not find it). Scott |

Posted - 03/29/2013 : 09:57:46 AM Great waterfall scene and it's interesting how a simple water tank can come up looking great using everyday stuff. Great job.

Scott,
The structure to the right of the trestle is very interesting. Might want to use it as an inspiration.
With you permission, of course.
Great job on the scenery. This looks like HO. What scale is it?
