Posted - 03/30/2011 : 08:51:35 AM Okay, 2011 participants, this will be the thread we use to post pictures of our visiting cars.
Our cars should first hit the road this week or early next week for an early April arrival. After that, we should send each car on its way at the end of each month.
For those new to the program, we discussed packaging the cars for safe shipment beginning on page 1 of the 2008 Interchange Sightings thread. Here is the link: http://www.railroad-line.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=20322&whichpage=1
Let's kick off this thread by posting some pictures of our interchange cars on their home roads prior to their ten month journey. |

Well it's either Giants or red birds Karl. Will the giants force game 7? It could be interesting.
Indeed it will, Tigers worried about the layoff. It hurt them against the Cards before. |

OK, The last few years of photos on the Interchange are now gone and have passed into history. Is there enough interest to restart history again?
Bill, I'm not sure if I understand. I thought when Joe did the restart, we were just gonna lose a few days' of posting efforts. Have we actually lost previous years' threads? I hope to finish my final postings to last year's interchange in the near future.

Posted - 01/21/2012 : 10:00:02 PM My goodness Dave that took forever to get to you. I mailed it back to you on the 9th, along with Ron's, the day I went to the UK! So I had time to go to England and back, have numerous meetings, visited a UK train-show and my parents all in the time the carrier pigeon took to deliver the freight car. |

Posted - 01/21/2012 : 3:27:16 PM Well the boys are back in town, arriving today from parts unknown. At least the boys aren't saying!!! I do have a dilema. There was another package waiting for me to day. Appears the Pickle car finally made it to Maine. Where should I send it to?

Posted - 01/15/2012 : 10:18:45 AM The Red Water Ry. #157 has arrived back to it's home tracks, apparently no worse for the wear from a rather circuitous route to Millinocket,ME. Which apparently it never did make it to. The museum artifacts are still on board and the last paperwork shows it left Troy, IL on 1/9. I knew when those Bozo's in the NH yard sent it out on a southbound there was something amiss.
On a more serious note, Allen I hope your wife makes a speedy recovery. Best wishes to Andy on your shoulder repair as well.
Guys, I am sorry for pooping out on the interchange this year but as they say life happens. I have been doing 60 hr weeks plus a 3-4 hour roundtrip commute which leaves little time for for anything but the essentials some of which from that Oct. storm. It really kicked the hell out of us leaving over $25k worth of damage on our property. I am looking forward to participating int eh 2012 Interchange FULLY.
Best wishes to all form Red Water country in Central Massachusetts!! |

Posted - 01/09/2012 : 2:21:13 PM Allen our best to you and your wife. MRSA is a tough thing to deal with with all the other stuff going on to. I wouldn't worry too much about trains right now as Karl stated. Just worry about getting her treated and well again. |

BTW, anybody see the pickle car lately?
I'm pretty sure it passed through here some time ago.
Allen, all the best to you and your wife, don't worry about the toy trains. |
