Posted - 11/14/2010 : 7:43:23 PM This one is meant to be a true micro (4 square feet max.) to fit a specific area over my bedroom desk. I beat the analysis paralysis today and cut the parts for it. Just 2 turnouts and a sector plate. Operating scheme is a 3-2-2 Inglenook variant. Bottom sketch is the scaled work plan.

Posted - 11/18/2012 : 09:48:54 AM Today was the 1st I've seen of this neat little layout. Went through all 3 pages. Nice concept and great "in progress" execution of the base plan. L like the construction method of your background flats and the bumper modification. Please keep the progress pics coming, Bill.

(These micro/mini layouts sure make it difficult for anyone to claim there's no room for a layout )

Posted - 11/16/2012 : 5:28:41 PM Not a lot to report of late. Though I did kitbash this Reading style bumper as a foreground detail out of an Atlas unit.

Posted - 07/28/2011 : 11:15:41 AM Not a whole lot to report except I got the layout operating again. It spent some time in the garage during summer start up. After adding the front fascia and back drops for the show, I had to remove the left back drop and do some cutting on the base to make it fit in the "corner" again! Also have been working on the factory flat designs.

Posted - 03/14/2011 : 6:02:40 PM That is coming on nicely. The Reading don't do much interchange traffic on this line by the looks of the cars in the yard |
