Here are some pictures I took of the stunning 0 scale Muskrat Ramble display layout, at this years Narrow Gauge Convention in Sydney. Its set in the Louisiana Swamps 1925. All buildings have detailed interiors, and amazing detail, and I believe all were scratchbuilt.
Regards Rob.

Robert,
Thanks for the additional pictures.
I live in the South Eastern US and it is a region that you do not see modeled that often

These modules and your pictures really capture the feel of the deep south. The detail work is amazing, love the pig hanging up waiting for the smoker and the fruit stand. This area moves along slowly and to it's own beat and is great for these lazy inactive mini scenes. I did not see a picture of it but I bet they even modeled the local moon shiners selling the lightning behind the church.

Still more great pics! Thanks very much, Robert.
I had dinner with Gavin Hince, last saturday, in La Rochelle. He told me how impressed he had been by all the great layouts at the convention.

Thanks for the overall pictures, Dan, they really give a feeling of the global size of this layout (and also of the "wall of scenery" : nice formulation).

Thank you for sharing ..... wonderful display of modeling

Rob,
You're correct, it was hard to get a good overall shot due to the continual crowd. I'll add a couple of my shots from a wider angle. One reasonable overall shot (if you can see though the guy in the front of shot), which sort of shows some of the projections along the front of the layout.

That last one is a reasonable impression of the wall of scenery...Muskrat Ramble, Dolly Varden, and then Geoff's Sunny Corner and his bush boxes display. Made for a fairly impressive sight upon entry to the layout & traders hall.

Thanks, Robert, for the additionnal pictures of the layout. The mangrove area is my favorite part of this layout, and while some were thinking about their own model of the boat house, I must say I have been thinking about my own version of the scene depicted in these pictures.

That has to be some of the best scenery I have ever seen. The detail is incredible, love the skunk in the last picture.
