Since all of the flat ground for my layout is built out, I am now concentrating more on the sloped areas, specifically the foothills (which means lots of oak trees and grasses). Bob's South River Martin Machine kit was a natural fit. Jim Lucas and I teamed up to create this Western rendition.

You & Jim have shown that with the right application of imagination, you can make many types of buildings plausible in an variety of settings....Thanks to both of you.

Bob

Bob,

When we generate a WOW! from you, I know we have done well. Thanks!! We need to hurry up and get your western studio set up. I need parts!!!

VERY well done.

We all strive hard to make our small worlds appear as real as possible. It is very satisfying when we do that successfully. Thanks for the complements.

Thanks Ken, but that credit should go to Bob for the kit design. This one has only minor changes to the diorama plans in the kit instuctions. I agree with you, Martin Machine is a great design.

Jimmy

Thanks Jimmy. The Thorndike Mills will be sitting downstream a ways from this Martin Machine. The original design was modified to fit the sloping terrain. I will post pictures of it after I finish the weathering, detailing and landscaping.

Gregg, that is one outstanding looking diorama. Both the structure and scenery look very natural and realistic. Your photography is also excellent. Well done.

Rick,

Thanks for the praise. A large share of the credit goes to Jim Lucas, as well as to Bob for designing a great kit. You cannot go wrong with this one.

Scott,

I wasn't holding out on you. I was searching the internet one day and stumbled across three "Building Craftman Structure Kits" DVD's, which are helping so much!!!

Gregg

Those were for entertainment purposes only!

Very nicely done it fits right in with the scenery. Looks very natural really like the trees. I'm sure when Bob sees this he'll want a pair of boots and a cowboy hat and then open up SRMW West

Jerry

Thanks Jerry. Yes, Bob will not only be buying those boots and hat, but a Harley vest as well. We don't need no stink'n sleeves out west!!
