hi,I am new here.Can someone direct me to a help group? I am looking for help poering tracks on a turntable(heljan). Walthers power kit gets in the way.

Hi Jim, Welcome to the forums. You will find help in all the forums, getting used to the neighborhood will take you a little time. Try posting your question in the "DCC, Computers and Electronics for Model Railroads" forum. You'll be asked some questions like, is your layout DC or DCC, etc. I'm sure somebody here has run into whatever your question is, and help you out. Again, welcome aboard!

Not quite sure what you are looking for but here is one thread about Heljan turntable. Is it the drive motor you want to power and hook-up?

Here is a picture of a HELJAN UNIVERSAL TURNTABLE DRIVE MOTOR KIT - This motor unit was made to power a Heljan manual turntable, which Walther's bought out Heljan.
Is this the motor that you say gets in the way? In the way of what?
