Hi everyone, this unique HO scale kit was produced by SS Ltd. as part of their "Miniature Rapid Motor Co." line of kits.
It's the circa 1920 International concrete mixer.

Now that is really neat. It looks massive in the pictures, but being HO scale I'm sure there is a lot of extra small, fiddly parts. However, you did a great job there, fantastic weathering as well.

Greg,

You did a great job on this, looks like its washed and clean ready for the next mix. I have always admired these, but never bought one. Nice.

Pete, Louis & Rich, thanks for your interest in this, and for your posts!

Pete, I am having fun building these little gems!

Louis, these kit's specialize in small fiddly parts.

Rich, I bet I've owned this kit for 20 years, so it's about time that I built it.

This kit also came with a little Miniature Rapid Motor Co. cast sign, which I tried painting up.
Perhaps I'll try hanging it up in Chester's barn somewhere.

That looks awfully complex. Very nicely done, Greg.

Thanks! George.
Yes it was a tricky thing to build, made even more so by the poorly written instructions.
