My drawing for the No. 10 option of draw it and scratch build it. This will be in N scale and will be done as a back of the scene structure. While it will be detailed the relief of the different layers will be minimized to appear as shadow only, not direct discrenable layers. The goal is for this structure to look like it is more than a block away. That means no heavy ink washes or anything like that. Instead it will be purposely more muted but still detailed and weathered.

First photo. The cornice is done as well as the board and batten. The battens are .3mm X .3mm square stop glued onto ship lap siding using the siding lines as trnches for the battens. In taking the photo I noticed I have to resize the left window on the bottom section.
The styrene will serve as the base to layer all the other pieces up onto.
