Your model looks decrepit, decaying and down on its luck, left to Mother Nature to do her worst. Thatís a very fine model.

The masts look awfully delicate.

Frank,
Early on in the thread I said you did amazing work in bringing a model to life. I will change my statement to amazing work in bringing a model to death. What a job! Thanks for sharing your talent!

Realistic at its best Frank. I agree with all comments before me. Dave nailed it with his comments! [:-captain][:-thumbu]

Pete, thanks for persevering.

Greg, she got pretty busted up going across the reef just offshore, thanks.

Mike & Bruce, thank you for the comps.

Mike, you said it; Mother Nature can be a beast at times.

Dave, life or death, its curtains for this little boat.

Thanks Mark.

Louis, thanks for the realism comment.

Iíve prepared the new beach area for the boat. The 50/50 white glue/water mix is drying.

Now that the beach is ready the boat is in her resting place. The lines have been re-wet with 50/50 and craft paint bottles were laid in while the glue dried. I tied the boat off to a palm tree to keep it from blowing off the beach in the next storm.

Bon Voyage!

Wow, Frank, I have the same kit, but never gave it a thought to do what you did. Excellent modeling.

Thanks Jerry, Kris, Carl and Rob.

Tony, one of my former occupations was sport fishing boat captain. So Iím attracted to nautical scenes, boats and the like.
