Good evening from Wisconsin. Tossed a couple logs on the fire. I am having a warm diet Dr Pepper but the beer is cold and the Eagle Rare and glasses are on the counter. After figuring I would have an easy day, Terry changed everything. Normally indoor decorations go up the weekend after T-giving. Not today, everything inside except the tree is done. I made 27 trips up the staircase, 14 stairs, from Xmas storage to the family room, just with Xmas stuff. Plus more trips as my trainroom is downstairs. So, yep, I am tired and the Wild/Tampa Bay hockey while high scoring has too many stops. Take a load off and enjoy the evening.

Going into the mid 20's overnight. So I'll throw a couple of logs on the fire to keep it warm for Rick in the morning. |

One of those rare nights where I'm up late.
I'll have a little taste of the Eagle Rare.
Tom, my legs are a little sore too. Rode up the tallest mountain on Swift. 3,400 feet of non stop climbing at a 9% grade average. Beat my best time by 5 minutes.
See you all in the morning. |

Good morning everyone.
Coffee, hot water for tea and Cherry Diet Dr. Pepper are ready to go.
Cloudy and windy with an expected high in the upper 40's here today.
Mike, there are a few other options for streaming. Spotify streams at less than CD quality but probably wouldn't be noticeable depending on what you're using to listen to. They have a few different price tiers starting at zero which will include having to listen to advertising. AmazonHD and Qobuz are CD quality or better and are $15/month.
Tom, yes, stop paying and everything goes away. Qobuz does offer the option to pay for downloads which are then yours to keep.
Jerry, I'm sure you'll find a chain.
Grocery shopping and meal prep this morning and a bike ride in the PM. I'm sure I'll be listening to the new album by The Who tonight.
Have a great day everyone. |

Morning
Rick thanks for opening and the coffee.
I think I found a chain will see when it gets here thanks to Rich.
Weather in South Jersey cloudy/34. Later on low 50's.
Errands this am. Then some time with the lathe. I put all the gears together to make sure they fitted. Now I'll glue then together and that should just about finish the lathe.
Everyone have a great day!! |

Good morning from So Wisconsin where the UFO in the sky actually is the Sun. The infirmary today is located in the Friday Lounge.
Rick, I signed up for the trial to see if I can tell the quality difference between my recorded stuff and there’s. If I stay with it, the trainroom speakers will get greatly upgraded. The cave is fine but the trainroom sometimes it is just background noise and I have no intention to pay for noise. Also, not really sure I listen to enough music to make it worthwhile. The wife is in the cave relaxing with music playing, she loves classical. Hockey game on campus tonight so I doubt I get to the lounge to toss any logs. Enjoy your day Tom |

Tom, the free version of Spotify might be good for you if all you want is background music.
Jerry, hope the chain is the right size.
Mike, feel better soon. |

Greetings, hope you guys feel better. The good half here fell and bonked her noggin on ice at work, slow day for that one. Got the morning out of the way after some XC skiing, only a mile. Lunch in the truck while it’s snowing lightly. Discourteous drivers abound, could’ve installed several cell phones. It’s Friday though. Jerry I’m sure it’ll be great, I had to fight my way thru those boxcar doors. Ordered a bunch of detail bits this morning too.
Breaking out the green three sider after dinner. Feel better and have a good day, Some Quadrophenia will definitely help!

That's fine, it'll make another trip kid.

Rick, background only in the trainroom, the cave deserves as do I good quality sound, thanks. Paul, get the wife a hockey helment and it only comes off on ice for a fight!
We are back from a last minute decision to see the Mr Rogers movie. I saw more of Mr Rogers today in the movie then my whole life. Wasn’t expecting much but was totally surprised by the story and the characters. Definitely worth seeing.
Dinner then hockey after I pull from the oven the baking leaves from the yard. Trying a “dead season” scene and the LHS only had a gallon bag of Scenic Express leaves. My working on the Paper Mill is on hiatus, time for other parts of the layout.

Good morning everyone.
Coffee, hot water for tea and Cherry Diet Dr. Pepper are ready to go.
Sunny, with a high near 38. Northwest wind 6 to 8 mph.
Paul, hope the wife is better and enjoy your Who session.
Tom, thanks for the review and have fun working on the layout.
Listened to the new Who album. Most of it was good. Had one of the songs stuck in my head all night which is a good sign.
I save some days off to use on weekends in December. Personal day today and will request one for tomorrow. Bike ride this morning. I need to look for something to do this afternoon.
Have a great day everyone. |

Morning everyone
Rick thanks for opening and the coffee.
Weather in South Jersey sunny/31!
I heard they had a new album out I figured it would be one of your 1st things to listen to. Can't believe how long they've been around.
Well yesterday we got all the gifts and wrapped them for Diane's family on the West coast. Now to mail them out.
Not sure what the "silly season" will bring today. So I'll wait to see if there is bench time in my future!
Everyone have a great day!! |
