Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for coffee.

I slept in this morning and it felt good.

Dog days continue with 103F today. Higher forecast for tomorrow. I'll stay inside this afternoon.

Nothing planned, but truly hope to get some photos of dining car.

Texas Western biz meeting tonight. Good to catch up with old friends.

Have fun,
Mike

Good morning, folks!
Had a nice sojourn on Vancouver Island with my wife and our motorcycles. Super-relaxing, beautiful weather, great food, and views. Back to the grind now. Daughter #1 getting married this December and daughter #2 not going back to Uni (not sure she is right programme and wants to find something she is passionate about - can't fault the logic) but that means that the ex-husband is pulling child support since one won't be going back to school and is an adult while the other will be moving out. This was unanticipated this soon and will leave a bit of a shortfall in the income. Tough choices ahead...
Cooler weather today after the spate of smokin' hot times just past.
Cheers,
Dave

Good evening. It has gotten cool on the deck even with the fireplace roaring and I am not
turning on the overhead heater towers. Too soon. Kind of surprised how quickly the temperature
dropped from 84 at 5:20PM to 73f degrees at 7:34PM CST. So join me inside the virtual lounge
for glass of beer, Spotted Cow or a nice bourbon Eagle Rare.

The wife is intently watching a preseason football game, Packers and Texans at Green Bay. I
can hear the TV sound and the announcers are acting like itís a playoff game. Have a great
evening.

Tom

Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for the coffee.

It's going to be hot again.

Managed time at the bench yesterday. It was relaxing and fun, although a bit tedious at times. Hoping for more time today.

My Wife is out of town, so daughter and I are headed to the new Local Goat distillery for supper and whatever tonight. Haven't been before so should be fun.

Have fun folks,
Mike

Good morning from dog watching Central. I write this from my daughterís deck as I am releasing the hound out into the yard 4 times a day for 30 minutes each. Since I was in the morning Lounge the neighbor came over and asked if I can do the same for their dog this evening and tomorrow. Sure why not, she said she will turn off the electric dog fence between the yard so Brewer and Bailey can romp together. Everyone have a great day and Rick, enjoy the job!

Good evening gents.

Tomorrow will be a day off, so I've pulled the Eagle Rare out of the cabinet.
Enjoy!

Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and Cherry Diet Pepsi are ready to go.

Lots of sun and mid 80's here again today.

Took a vacation day today to attend a co-workers BBQ.
Bike ride first this morning.

Jerry, you sure have been busy at home.

Tom, you've got a different kind of busy going on.

Mike, what's a goat distillery or is that just the name of the place?

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for coffee.

Local Goat Distillery is the name of a spirits distillery and eatery. Weird name I admit. They had vodka, rum, gin, etc. and in different flavors. I just had straight gin martini and a roasted chicken and smoked Gouda sandwich. Fun evening with daughter.

Looks like another warm day at 104F. I'm headed to Waco in a bit for an all day lodge secretary training session. School...ugh!

Hope you have a fun ride, Rick.

Have fun,
Mike
