carl,

A minor offense. I would think that 50 lashes with the cat and maybe walking the plank would be appropriate.

Here she is with the upper deck in place, looks quite different.

Bill - This is an example of replacing a ruined part, not easy on a pre-printed paper
kit. If you ruin a part it's tough to recover. Most of the parts have to be glued
to a thicker card for use on the model. I normally glue the part to the card and then
put weights on it (often overnight) to keep them from buckling as the glue dries. I don't
know what happened to this deck but it was all twisted and completely unusable. I was
able to flatten it enough to get a scan of it but then getting my printer to print it out
in a closely matching color was another problem. It took a lot of tries and wasted
paper until I finally got it right. What color you see on the computer is not always
exactly what any particular printer produces. I think it looks OK.

Bob,

Good recovery. The color looks good from here.

Bob, you're making me want to dig out and dig into my Ramage, Bolitho and Hornblower novels! This will seriously mess up Greg's Summer Reading list!

Great work!

Outstanding Bob!

The Coup de Grace would be a photo of you holding up the model with a Parrot on your shoulder.

Great job!

If this is just "OK"... I can't imagine what "in excellence" would look like.

Thanks guys, I appreciate all your comments.

Pete, I have all those books too and have read them all at least once each, some two or three times.

Not much to show today, I was very busy yesterday. I did add the black rail topping all
around and set up the framing for the quarter galleries.

Bob, is it deck the halls or haul the decks?

Frank. I think it will have to be deck the halls till I get this model done.

Here's a shot of the aft end. Don't be too critical, there's loads of work and clean-up to be done here.

Beautiful work.

All that work by the shop builder, and it could be destroyed in a few minutesí engagement.
