You have some interesting ideas on lighting, Carl. I like the effect you've achieved in the window.

Carl.

You’re doing good things with your lighting. The little yellow boxes appear to do an excellent job: very atmospheric. A pleasant vintage look.

Carl,
Wow! Your work always amazes me. You perfectly captured the atmosphere of old with the lighting.

Lots of "fiddling" with those tiny lampshades, wires and components to light up the night. This will be a street to wander through in the fog for sure. Great atmosphere all around. Excellent build.

Carl,

It's those accurate little details that really bring your models to life. Love it!

Thanks very much Bill, George, Mike, Dave. G., Bob, Rich, Fred, Frank, Greg, Kevin, Jim and RichBeau. !

Glad you all like the lantern lighting. Due to their fragility, I won't be able to install those until the very last minute...

And Richbeau- Welcome to the thread! Appreciate you following along....

Carl,

I was very surprised that you were able to drill through the fixtures without breaking them. I have bought some 3D parts and have lost about 10% to breakage of some sort. You are a great modeler for sure. Your lighting techniques are some of the best I have seen.

Hi Carl. Your build and progress is great....as always.
There are plenty of lights available in HO. Some not so great, and some very expensive.
Brawa make very ornate lights, but about $15-$17 each.

I did find these. 5 for $5.

The Pics look OK. Whether that's what you actually get, may be a different matter.

Regards Rob

Despite the cost of living, it's still popular.
