Interesting looking kit, and certainly a lot of thought and effort was put into the development of it. I'm not much of a kit modeler and am a little puzzled by the 'sounds' that are part of the kit. Are these, Animal sounds? Machinery sounds? Whispers? Did they come on a DVD, a sound decoder, or something else? I'm sure you will do a beautiful job with the kit, as you always do, and I'll tag along watching it progress.

Jim

Jim, thanks for your nice comments & interest.
Here is the link to Rail Scale Miniatures website, they have sound samples of the sounds that you can listen too.

http://www.railscaleminiatures.com/wfalls.htm

I haven't received my lighting & sound kits yet from
www.ngineering.com
You can read all about their little sound systems and how they work.
They also have a bunch of different sound samples that you can listen too, and buy from them.
I will give a complete step by step when I get to that part.

Greg

Greg, I think you're trying to close to barn door after the fun has begun.

Rich, would I disappoint you if I told you I plan on raising miniature horses instead of cows.

Bill, how can I possibly close the barn door, when I haven't even built the barn attached to these alleged doors to begin with. [:-angel]

Farms present a lot of potential for fun for anyone with a fertile imagination.

Mike, it's pretty hard to plow over that statement. [:-angel]

Hi Greg,
I saw this when you first posted and have been following. A bit of slow germination on my part to reply, but you have given me thought again to reordering the kit now that it is shipping.
Looking forward to how you build the homestead.

Greg,

Most farms have cows, and only special farms have miniature horses. One would think that building a diorama of such a large size, that the builder would concentrate on the build rather than spend all day on the computer. We want to see some udder accomplishments.

Jeff, nice to hear from you!
It would be wonderful if you joined in with the build again, like you did with the Delwin's build that we enjoyed together.

We can see it now, 'Rich the farmer' milking those steers and miniature horses, can't imagine those sounds.[:-idea] Don't be checking under that rooster for eggs.

Rich & Jim, I guess if I'm going to dish it out, I've got to take it back.
Just didn't think the topic of "Animal Husbandry" would be involved in any way.
Rich I now have a laptop right at my modelling bench, so I can keep an eye on you, and work on my models at the same time.

Kevin, patience is a modellers best tool.
I have started the kit, I'm reading & understanding the instruction booklet first.
