The plan is, for the last 10 years, to build a layout in the 12x16 outbuilding where I tore out the HO layout.

But I don't want to make any hasty decisions.

Don't be making hasty decisions!! [:-bigeyes2]

The "stuff on the shelves" is fabulous. I suspect that the Actual Railroad, when arrive it eventually does, will be equally cool, and will certainly be enhanced by this collection.

Go for it!!

Thatís a fine collection of buildings. I imagine it will be fun arranging them into a community.

Thanks, Pete and Mike!!

I found 4 chairs that I built years ago for a destined to be abandoned project. I had forgotten about them, so when I found them I used them. They are pretty simple but they fill in the gallery, the very small gallery.

I've built module #4. It's 19" deep but only 29" long, rather than 48". Just enough to house the courthouse and grocery. Prototypically those two buildings were a block. My plan is to place it between module #1 and #2, eventually.

Added the power pole, which, prototypically was there sometimes and sometimes it wasn't. I'll leave mine there, it fills in the hole in the sidewalk.

And the un-prototypical (or is it?)alley.

I can think of at least two episodes where there was an alley there.

Also pretty much done with the roof.

I'm not sure how much more I'm going to do on this project, other than adding lights.

Nicely done, Fred! A Gamewell box (fire alarm call box) on the pole might be a nice little touch of red in there....

Thanks, Carl and Bill !!

Bob, I don't know when we'll see it all in place. That's 11 feet of modules, just for #1, #2 and #4. 1 and 2 are fastened to brackets on the wall. I can't squeeze in 4 where I want to because 1 will block the closet door. [:-ashamed]

Pete, there is a red call box on module 1....in front of the bar.

I know others have repeatedly said this Fred, but everything is truly fantastic. The modules all blend together really nice. And the construction isn't too shabby either.

Just fantastic. Are you going to add roof drains and downspouts?

I thought about drains and downspouts but apparently it never rains in Mayberry.
