I may invest in one of those someday. But I keep telling myself I'm through making brick.

They work for cutting more than brick. They cut stripwood, plastic strips and fingers. Ouch!

Thanks, Rich.

No, Ted, it's not exactly my site. I'm an administrator on there, the guy known as Vulcan. We are trying to resurrect the site after a lengthy pause.

Frank, it looks to me like it would be better for larger stuff than the real small stuff. But I'm just speculating.

I've added the lintels. The sills are concrete so they will come later. I also decided to "open" the entrance, in case I decide to model the interior that I'm not planning to model.
And I hacked off the lower section so I can build and paint it separately.

Then the brick was painted and work begins on the front entranceway.

It's still separate and that's not it's final color.

Thanks, Ted, Carl, Rich, Frank and Railman.

I've added the sills to the main wall and the canopy/balcony to the front.

I don't know if that is anymore than a canopy but I'm treating it as if it's a balcony, so that's what I'm calling it from here on out.

Also working on the doors.

Of course I still need to make columns, windows and weather, but I'm getting there slowly but surely.

Actually, Carl, there is very little styrene used. It's mostly floor tile and basswood.
