Thanks, Dave! I've always been a little stubborn and hard-headed.

Well, it only took forever and a day and half but I got the front wall bricked up.

Now I'm working on lintels and sills.

Splendid. I must have forgotten your method Fred, but how do you cut so many pieces of your material to the exact same length?

A jig of some sort?

Fred,
Tell the truth, you scribe lines and color them in with a magic marker! Right?

Thanks, Guys!!

These are my precision brick cutting instruments.

I cut a strip from the construction paper the height of the brick, then the jig for the length.
Even with those precision tools the bricks vary in height and length, if we were to really pick nits.

Terrell have you tried on of these? This is the Micro-Mark version of a Northwest Shortline Chopper III. I have a NWS-III and I'd be lost without it. Set the gauge and it chops the same length all the time.

What, Frank. you don't like my Chopper 0.25?

I may invest in one of those someday. But I keep telling myself I'm through making brick.
