Fred,

This build is exceptional..I must say. You fellows should all get together to produce kits.

Thanks, Pete, Mike, Frank and Rich !!

The store fronts are mounted to their foundation and it's pretty much done for now.

I found another color picture.

So, I'm starting on the front wall of the main building.

Making bricks, LOTS of bricks.

Looks great Fred!

I hadn't noticed before until your latest picture- the windows leaning forward at the top...interesting detail. Don't think I've seen that before.....

Is the prototype a movie set? The last photo reveals a missing chunk of wall on the taller brick building, suggesting they're false fronts.

Thanks, Jerry !

Carl, I have photos showing the windows leaning forward and straight up and down. I went with straight.

Galen, good catch. It's actually a TV show set.

Fred, Galen's got a real watchful set of eyeballs there .. you can see daylight through the upper right three windows too, showing there is no side building wall. [:-bigeyes]
Anyway, you do nice work.

Since it's a TV show set maybe the slanted windows are a way to keep reflections from the lights out of the camera lens?

Rich, I think that shot was taken after the set was no longer being used.

Thanks, Mike.

Good theory, Bill. Apparently they didn't worry about glare all of the time.

That's actually the courthouse, Frank. I hadn't planned on doing it, but who knows.

Wait a minute...courthouse? Is there a barbershop down the street and does Floyd work there?

There's a few clues in this shot. Notice the straight up and down windows.

Floyd's is actually right next door to the courthouse. You can see it in the very first picture I posted, now that you know it's there.
