Thanks very much, Ted.

On a down note, I'll be the first to say it, that step from the top of the porch to the two thresholds is really bothering me. It's way too much. [:-ashamed] There is a step there but that's over a foot, too much. So I'm going to try to fix that. I don't know what happened but every time I look at it seems that it gets larger. So tomorrow I'll see what I can do.

Thanks, ALL !!

Carl, I don't know why you want to see this. It aint purdy. Just meant to be functional. Some old lights I'd ripped out of other projects long ago.

The fahnstock clips are so I can completely remove the roof if I need to.

Barely before I even got out of bed this morning I started to work on the steps. First I ripped out the top step/porch.

Then I added some thickness to the second step.

And thickness to the top and bottom of the top step.

I'm happier with it so far, or at least I will be once I get it painted and weathered...again.

Very much improved Fred. Looks much better and the thresholds look completely realistic now'.. Now once you get that front sidewalk in, the few shrubs and weeds, you'll be all set'....

I'm starting to get this feeling I should be working on a sidewalk.

Just a hunch, I guess.

Well Fred, you being the construction project manager, you have the finial say... what goes where...Seems though, spectators appear to want a sidewalk... and shrubs, (LOL)[:-dopey]

Thanks for the extra photo Fred.

Always like to see how different modelers accomplish the same goal....
even if it "ain't purdy"....I think that's what sharing on forums is all about! [:-graduate]
