Some inspiration for what I hope is an amazing weekend of progress. Neil might be a major help. A thousand details to go but some friends and some 3D printers are working hard.

Roland,
I hope by the end of this I can have removable backdrops for all sides. These are quick cell phone pictures. I want to shoot the pictures in the same type of black and white they had in 1918. Two days ago I found evidence of color pictures in WWI. The color was crude but might help cover the fact that these are models.
Please feel free to give advice as your models are the detail level I hope to achieve.
Stay tuned.

Your diorama is an exciting combination of history, railroads, military and modeling.

Thank you all for the wonderful words of encouragement from my last post.

As I continue to skip around on build progress, here is where the 3D car from page 17 now stands.

I did a lot of stuff this week but not much turned out picture ready. Some progress on the Dick, Kerr Petrol Engine.

I need to do more clean up on this metal kit. Working with some of these kits is a patience tester.

I spent 8 hours building 5 sets of white metal trucks. So many parts, so much filing and test fitting. What did I commit to?

Larry, with the results I'm seeing the commitment has been worth it.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi all,
Just found this video should be of some interest to Larry, I will check on the figures this week.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4GMITokuHN4 it may give you some more ideas for the layout.
We have a show this weekend I will look out for anything WW1 for you.
