Although we often have deer in the yard back in NJ, it is nothing compared to the nightly parade of whitetails that frequent my son's side yard here in San Antonio.

And large tails at that! I take it that 'white-tail' comes with their particular racks they carry and their tails when elevated. Great shot!

| anbhurst don't be fooled by the size of their tails. Those are Texas deer and the tail is the only thing about them that is normal size. I would be embarrased to shoot one of them because all the whitetail deer in Texas are stunted and no bigger than a collie dog. |

Well, I thought the snow was gone for the season, but we picked up another 4-5" over the past two days here in Northern NJ. This guy was under the birdfeeder this morning licking up seeds.

| Barry!!!! What the hell is that thing this little guy is pointing, or should I say aiming? Looks like a miniature bazooka from here. You haven't had any flat tires lately have you? Better check the house and windows for any strange holes. You never know nowadays. Next thing you know the koalas will be carrying grenade launchers and the bloody 'roos will have field artillery. You better buckle your flak jacket and helmet on. It could be a loooooong day. |

Barry what can I say after seeing your pic???
Some deer outside my kitchen window this morning. Living on the edge of the Great Smoky Mtn. Nat. Park there is a fair amount of wildlife around here. Some like these deer and the flocks of wild turkey are nice. Others like the wild hogs I can do without.

| Have no fear, Tyson knows not to pet the little piggies ! I don't normally "walk" the mountain with my camera and the hogs usually don't come into the yard area but if the camera and the hogs cross paths I'll post a pic. Any requests for bears, wolves, cougars, coyotes or anything else that can get me killed???? |
