Micro Engineering Code 55, maybe Code 40 if there were ready-made turnouts at reasonable prices. I just wish ME would start making their Code 55 turnouts again, the Atlas ones are nowhere as good, due to the flange compatibility issues they have, and ME track looks better, too, especially when it's been pre-weathered.

It is Atlas Code 55 for myself. The last layout was Atlas Code 80, worked fine for that layout. The new one that I've started is Code 55 with #7 turnouts. Working great, and love the look. Here is a photo of what I've got done so far.

I don't think I ever actually answered this question: I like Peco Code 55. I've gone with the electro-frog turnouts.

Dave,

A man after my on heart. I love Atlas C55, except for the lack of electrical continuity through the switches. Not a problem if you feed them from both sides though.

For what it's worth from a newbie. I too use Kato Uni-Track. I only have a setup for testing purposes at this time. I find the track to be on the slippery side. It takes 2 locos to haul 15 cars without incurring alot of wheelslip. This is the larger approxiamtely 15 inch radius Uni-Track. Todd

I have Atlas 55 on layout, but will use Atlas 80 on module.

I guess I vote other. At the present I am using a mixture of peco 80 and 55 electo and inslfrog with code 80 atlas flex track on my 3x6' secnic and relaxed. I have had to use one code 80 shinahara where i managed to bust the rail out of one of my pecos. On the next layout the best choice at present appears to be fast tracks jigs for the turnouts and micro engeering code 55 and 40 flex track.
By the way why is this poll at the top of the small scale forum when the last post is see is on 12-2-2006?

The thread is a sticky Jon so that when new members come along they can voice their opinion also.
