The theme for this month is Metal Roofing and Siding, so get ready to share your photos, either model or prototype.

I once again want to caution everyone to keep copyright issues in mind. If you didn't take the picture, it isn't yours to post. Links to photos on the web are allowed, however.

In consideration for those on dial-up, please keep your photos to 80KB or smaller.

Hi All,

Another great thread, Bruce... This little scratch build of mine fits both categories.

Bruce,
I think your idea of different topics is a great idea for three reasons.
1) it generates a great sharing of info and ideas.
2) it creates a resource such as this topic will do of proto type photos
3) it also gives each of us a stage to show off our work and/or ideas
Thanks for doing this.

Metal roofing on my version of the Troels Kirk Cannery from Full Steam Ahead.

All decking, awnings and scenery to be completed when I plant the structure on my future layout expansion.

the metal siding and roof of the warehouse of the farm supply on my layout.

"Is it really "rivet counting" if it's regarding NBW castings?"

Some corrugated on an O scale country store. Material is aluminum S scale stock from Builders-In-Scale, etched then weathered with gouache and Bragdon powders.

And some more peeking over the side. The roof is cropped because I only finished the first row so far.

This kit was a gift from the Dutchman. He visited a Michigan train show and saw my wares. (I sell a few structures) Low and behold, someone stole my Pickle Factory. A few weeks later, Bruce mailed me an unopened kit he had laying around. I built a second one without modification.
