Morning Jerry and the REST of the RR-L Crew when they roll out and crawl down here to the lounge!
Usual coffee and toast please.
70 degrees out this morning, better than the 105 we had recently. So, with that, we'll spend the day working in the yard now that Mary can actually move around again. Between the heat and her back we haven't done anything in the yard all summer. Grass has only been mowed once in over two months!

Everyone have a FUN and SAFE weekend in the Train Yard.

Good Morning / Afternoon all.

Sun and cloud, with temperatures in the low 70's. No rain forecast til Monday afternoon.

Over half way through a day shift at work, but have tomorrow off, before going onto nights on Monday.
Plenty to do tomorrow, though I might get to the little trains tonight, if I'm not too tired.

That'll do now, so have a good weekend.

Good morning Jerry and the rest of the RR-L crew when they get in.

Coffee and English muffin will do me just fine, thanks Jerry.
What's on for this weekend? Saturday morning chores then I'm free to do as I want in the RR room.
I'm finishing up Blue Ridge Coal and setting it in the layout, need to move a couple of tracks and a turnout.
Hope all will have a great day!!!

Morning all. English muffin sounds good with lots of butter and honey.
Triple digits here in the Nevada desert. My A/C unit went belly up
last night. Today I need to find a new condenser fan and install it.
Still hoping to make it to Reno for the hot august nites car show today.
next week maybe I can get back to building mountains.

I finished painting a figure and glued the LED inside my Inter-Action crossing tower. I need to find some furniture to put into the tower to complete the (now lit) interior.

Morning all. Thanks Jerry, eggs, sausage, toast and coffee please.
We lost power for 7 1/2 hours last night after a small storm. Really humid and tough getting to sleep. Power came back on during the night so it cooled it down a bit.
Need to do some yard work myself. After working 2 weeks in a row on a 1:1 job I haven't had energy for much else.

Good morning, Jerry and crew. I had a flat tire on my bike ride this morning. No big deal, I've fixed tires on the road many times, however, after I pulled the tube out, I felt some biting at my ankles. I looked down and saw a half dozen horse flies working on me. I looked up and saw I had stopped next to a stable.[:-banghead] I think I set a new record for tire changes.

Have a good day.

Good morning from the muggy Jersey Highlands. The temps are only heading into the upper 70's here, Jerry. It is amazing what a difference we often see in temps within our small state.

This is a 'rabbit day'. I have more young rabbits to tattoo, cages to clean, and some young litters to spread out into cages of their own.

Later this afternoon and evening, I will spend some time getting things ready for next weekend's Summer Meet of the Garden State Division.

George, we can be motivated to do a job either internally or externally. It looks like you had some external motivation to have you do the job quicker than you ever have before.

Have a great day!

About 40 hours of rain has let up here in MI. Some say it is the first appreciable rain since April, altho we did have a touch around Memorial Day. It is too late for many crops and veggies in the area but is welcome just the same.

I had over a 3 hour 'ops' session with grand kids yesterday. Amazing the ability of the new generation to adapt to my NCE dcc system. The only difficulties were the result of the dispatcher, me, falling behind a couple times. We just ran trains around the layout but my 9 yr old grand daughter ran the double headed Challengers and 40 car train with no problem. It was funny watching them pointing the controller right at the engines like a tv controller when they blew the whistles. A fine time was had.

The sun is just now peeking out for the first time since Thursday. It's just 60 on the weatherbud display below.

Everyone have a good day.

BE SAFE!!

Jerry,
Thanks for breakfast, a western omelet please and a nice big mug of coffee with a touch of cream.
Thunder storms here last night and it was raining earlier. The sky to the south is clear and to the north it is absolutely black.

I just got up, had a late night last night doing some track wiring on two reverse loops. Does anyone have any ideas or recommendations on auto control of turnouts? Send me an email or a PM.
Thanks
Ralph
