Hi All:

Here are the final photos of this scratch build. It was A lot of fun for me because of the personal issues involved. Anyway all the figures represent friends of Mr. McLeer my best friend. On the front porch we have Mrs. McLeer and Ivy George's yellow lab. She (Ivy) is no longer with us. She was my best friend and I miss her very much. The guy on the stair landing (another friend) is Mr. Cavanaugh. He's the the head supervisor at McLeer's and keeps an eye on things. The three guys to the right of the porch are Mr Outland trying to sell Mr. McLeer a bottle of wine. The other guy is of course me trying to figure out what the heck they are doing. The wagon was built by Karl O. George and I very much appreciate his contribution to the model and thank him very much.

PS: Cant forget our cat Spanky. He's on the chair.

Here's the photos:

Karl i am always impressed at the speed you can produce a finished build from a kit and then you scratch build just as fast to the same high standard.

A really nice structure that just makes me want to model a little backwoods country town on a layout.

Very nice. Roof turned out fantastic. My favorite part may be the outside pipes and the chimney. Tell more about the chimney.

Hi Bryan:

The outside plumbing if from chooch. The chimney is a leftover FSM Chimney.
