Did the RG (D&RGW, RGS, etc.) ever have hoppers in their rosters? I see Blackstone only makes high side and drop bottom gon's, and wondered if that was because that was prototypical for hauling all coal & ore loads.

Just wondering...???

Thanks, Louis... I see the date of manufacture was 1966, so that won't help me. I was hoping they had an old wooden WWII style narrow gauge one circa 1946 or so.

Thanks again for the fast reply.... Bob

As far as I know there were no hoppers on the narrow gauge rooster in the narrow gauge circle. Only High side and drop gons.

The East Broad Top had steel hoppers and they will be coming out from Blackstone. Here's the link:

The D&S ( Former D&RGW) has some steel hoppers which were formerly EBT hoppers. For the last few years these hoppers have been stored outside the yard at Hermosa.
