Good Sunday Morning to all the Forum Crew.

Railbender brew is cooked up and osme regualr style coffee, too.
It's late morning, so we'll go with some lighter fare. You can, however get the full breakfast if you'd like.
We've got oatmeal, cereals, toast, muffins and biscuits. Bacon has been fried up and there's some Taylor ham, too.
The cold drinks are in the ice tub.

Another heat advisory scorcher on tap for us today, before a "cool down" of sorts decends upon us. The rain chances are slight for the next couple days before better chances of it later in the week.
I did get out back and run a couple trains for a good bit. That little a/c unit was running it's heart out, that's for sure!! At least I was able to stay out there without sweating. :D Couldn't say that before I got it insulated and walls up. :)

Hope everyone had a good day.

Good morning Mike, Danny and the rest of the RR-L crew when they get in.

Coffee and a muffin will do me just fine, thanks Mike. I feel for you guys that live north and are getting these unreal temps. It may be muggy here in SW FL but we hardly ever go above 95. At least everyone has a chance to work at the workbench in the AC.
Hope all have a great day!!!

Nice day on tap in MI, our heat broke late afternoon yesterday, 98 degrees around 3 pm dropping to 87 in about 90 minutes. Still no appreciable rain, however. Right now it's a balm 78 at the closest reporting station.

Quiet day on tap. I hope all have a good day.

BE SAFE!!

A late morning stop here. I'll have a quick coffee and then we're off to my sisters fro a family cookout with a cousin from AZ.
Day of rest, so to speak and then tomorrow I have a customer's project to tackle.

Not happy about the rabbits eating my garden. And it was doing so well. Lost cause it seems.

Enjoy your day.

Hey Crew,

Since I'm 3 hours behind everyone, I'll chime in late as well.

Gonna work on the new L&WS track plan some more. Finally got it pretty much down. Sill need to amke a few tweaks though. Also been stocking up on Shinohara flex-track against future price increases; I'm using the $$$$ from the MR track plan contest.

Interesting tidbit. The main (non-interstate) road that runs through So. California's beautiful Coachella Valley is State Highway #111. So designated, quip some local wags, because that's the average temperature in July, August and September. Guess what the average temperature's gonna be for the next week.[:-hot][:-hot][:-hot]

Stay cool and we'll catch y'all later.
