Let me be the first to wish our southern neighbours a happy "Independence Day"!!

You are our best friends and often "pains in the a**" but I am sure that I speak for most Canadians when I say we would wish it no other way!

Enjoy the holiday and we will celebrate with you!

Can I second that John? Happy 4th July to all our US friends.

It is 6:00 am Wednesday morning here in Ipswich and a freezing 0 degrees C. I am enjoying a hot cup of coffee and some melted cheese on toast. Its not much but, you are most welcome to join me to kick off your Independence Day. [:-party]

Did you know that the "Declaration of Independence" was actually drafted on July 2,1776.
And it was not signed by everyone until August 2,1776.
Regardless, I cannot think of a better neighbor to have then the good old, United States Of America!
Happy Independence Day!

Thank you one and all! Unfortunately, I have to work on the holiday so I won't be enjoying it as much as others will be, but after work I will head home to my kids and enjoy steam clams, burgers and a few cold beers!

Thank you. I love it north of our border. My wife and I have visted Canada many times. I had hoped to get back this summer but the summer schedule at the community college I teach at is not going to allow a real vacation for me this summer.

Always enjoyed traveling into Canada and using your passenger train service excellant, I'm sure it is similar today. Australia was a favorite visit. People their are so friendly and helpful.

Happy 4th to all!!!

Hotter than a firecracker around much of the area today, everyone enjoy the day.

The weather station at the Charlotte, MI airport quit reporting around noon at 96 degrees. Local TV website said this is the hottest since FDR was president.

BE SAFE!!

Happy Independence Day!

We stayed in the Altoona, PA area last night and are heading to Cincinnati, OH today. Our oldest granddaughter is participating in the World Choir Games over the next few days.

Enjoy the day!

We got power back last evening, after being out more than 90 hours from that nasty storm that swept across the mid-Atlantic. Here's what greeted this morning:

And a belated Happy Canada Day to our friends up north, eh? Sorry I missed it Sunday.

I got out early, before the heat gets unbearable, and cleaned up the shoreline. I expect we will have tons of boat traffic today and I hate for the backyard to look bad. Since it is so hot, I expect I will get some modeling done on my current project.... Happy holiday for those in the USA and happy Wednesday to those that are not!

Happy 4th of July

Hot and looks like it is going to stay hot for several days in central Ohio. As soon as my stepdaugher finishes the parade in Lewis Center (she is in the band) we head to Tennessee to meet up with my wife at a reunion.

Stay cool and enjoy the day.
