Well,
I haven't been on RR-line for a while and figured that I'd let you all know what I was up to. The church that I go to had been talking about making a website for themselves. I told them that instead of making and probably paying for a website, why not do a Facebook page? Anymore, people get on Facebook more than ever. In other words, who is going to search for a website when you can just go to the largest social network (for free even!)?

They approved my idea and I had it up and running within a week.

Here's the ongoing project: http://www.facebook.com/CurtinChurch

I don't really care for social networks like Facebook, but when it comes to advertising, I think it's a good place to go.

Unfortunately, I had to create my own account in order to start a page . It was well worth it though. We are up to 30 likes already!
Our next goal is 50!

I am going to soon start a page for my train layout, too. I'll post a link when I'm done with it. I am very sorry if I offended anyone with this.

Thanks,

Cody

No offense taken. Nice job and great to see someone giving back. Wish there were more FB pages like this.

As I promised, here is my layout page. I'm still in the process of loading info, so not much to see except for some rr photography and a description of the layout.

Benchwork and op sessions! I have posted photos of both. Some in the Layout Design/OPSig thread and construction photos in the Model Railroad Construction thread. Take a look.
