As we often do in the summer, we will have some Gallery Themes in July and August that only run for half the month. Typically these are devoted to themes where we feel that the number of photos might be a bit limited. The Theme for the first half of July will be devoted to MOW Equipment and/or MOW scenes. This theme was suggested to me some time back by Larry (Brakie). Either prototype or model photos are welcome.

I once again want to caution everyone to keep copyright issues in mind. If you didn't take the picture, it isn't yours to post. Links to photos on the web are allowed, however.

In consideration for those on dial-up, please keep your photos to 80KB or smaller

I will start us off with a picture of a NJ Transit MOW train placing ties next to the rails. I took the photo in Mahway, New Jersey.

Not too hard to assemble, the original instructions from Custom Finishing weren't all that great, perhaps the new owner's ones are better. Mine had the track wheels missing, took some time to get replacements. The business end of the blower was solid, which didn't look that great to me, so I drilled and filed it our and added the separators. Would probably look better with hydraulic hoses added, but I never had the abition to do so.

Good luck on building one of your own!

Great job on that Jet snowblower Bob!

A Tichy boom car, that I painted to look like a Canadian National car.
