I noticed the Lehigh Valley paint scheme has been modified from the original. Also, one of my favorites...don't laugh...the Penn Central unit!

There are some pretty schemes! And even though I'm a PRR fan, and it is a nice scheme, I'd have to say my favorite is the Lackawanna scheme. I've always loved that maroon and grey!

I wonder why they didn't do on in a Delaware and Hudson scheme?

David,
thanks for the link.
would bet that Pete Hasler would like to have that Erie Ace !!
Mark,
D&H didnt go to Conrail, then was later sold to Guilford, went belly up and ended up with CP.
so that could be the reason NS isnt doing D&H ?
but where is L&HR,L&NE,O&W,or W-SSB ?

Thanks Spikre! You know, if I had taken the time to truly read the web site, I probably would have known that! Makes sense now!

I had the Central of Georgia unit as my switcher one day last week. We normally dont get stuff like that since we are an out of the way outpost

For those of you who have such devices, NS has an app to track and report sightings of the heritage locomotives. http://www.nscorp.com/nscportal/nscorp/Media/News%20Releases/2012/app_upgrade.html I've also seen a "family portrait" from Spencer taken yesterday, but I cannot locate the NS source of it.

Thanks for the link David. Glad to see a big Corp (NS) that still has enough heart to apply a little paint here and there...just for remembering thier own heritage. And the PR don't hurt...

What a great event. I wonder how long it will be before these start to appear on models other than the Overland brass?

Here's my contribution - the best ones. The rest had just too many people in front of them.
