Good Afternoon All,
We are home from Goose Fest, the first of a kind. Reportably the first time all the Geese have been in one place...missing only Goose 3 from Knotts Berry Farm who bailed at the last minute. I can tell you it was spectacular to be able to get in and crawl around as well as ride in the cabs of all of them. There are pics, and video...the video will take a bit longer.

Teaser from Cell phone cam...Saturday Afternoon...

A news article posted to me... http://www.washingtonpost.com/national/homely-but-beloved-railroads-galloping-geese-waddle-again-at-colorado-museum/2012/06/14/gJQADEKnbV_story.html

I know there was more coverage in the Denver area.

Les, I'm sure you worry yourself out measuring all of those Geese. I'm glad you had a good time, it's hard to tell when they may be together again.

Tom
Thanks, I was not only impressive, but monumental when you think about it, as well as they all went around the circle (kinda like we do at home RR)on Saturday and Sunday morning. Each Goose was retrived via the turntable, spur to the main.

Goose line up with usual suspects...their Motormen.

Amazing when you consider that none of the Geese were scrapped (Okay, I know #1 is a reproduction and that #6 was probably built from the original #1) and that they're all now in operating condition (again). Just amazing!

Very cool. Does this constitute a gaggle of geese?

Good Morning Guys,
Thanks I am most happy to share, another great thing I picked up there were scaled/dimensioned drawings of 2, 5, 7, like $2.50 per.

Geez yup #2 is special, as you all know #2 was created from the San Christobal and so it will be this summer too for convention. Okay Bill I know what you mean.

bit 'o junk this morning...

You all have a good day...more pics later on.
