Hey guys,

Some of you may recall me discussing my wife's liver issues in years past. Two years ago today, June 10th, my wife received the gift of life in the form of a liver transplant. Just as an extremely brief update - she is doing great! God has been very good. She deals with a handful of required medications a couple times a day but that is old hat now. A big scar and the meds are the only reminders that she was nearing death two years ago.

This photo of Tiff and our son Isaiah was taken last weekend at Isaiah's graduation from pre-school (he's 5-1/2 now).

The wife of a good friend got a new lease on life in March when her daughter gave her half of her liver at Mayo in Phoenix. We had dinner with them last week to celebrate her 60th birthday and the engagement of their daughter. Life is good again for them!

Congratulations to you, your wife and family.

What a great lookin' graduate Isaiah makes, and congratulations Tiffany on your second liver-versary! Beth is 117 days out from her stem-cell transplant and remains high on Cyclosporine. We are nearing titration (another two weeks or so) which will thrust her new immune system into the spotlight. :o) Joe, . .Thanks for posting the lovely picture of your family.

Rock on, Tiff! While it's fresh in our minds, let's all pull out our drivers' licenses and be sure we've check the organ donor box! And, be sure to tell your next of kin since they're the ones who'll be making that decision on your behalf!

Great point Dave! Thank you!

John, we have an HO Thomas and an On30 train that we pull out from time to time but not more then a circle of track to play with. A mini-layout for Sai is coming though.

Allen, Beth is always in our prayers.

Every one thank your kind responses and I will be sure to let Tiff see this thread!

Sincerely,
Joe ><>
