Hi,
Will the bulbs in a P2K gp30 work with a tsunami TSU-GN1000 decoder (without resistors) on the 1.5v light output?

Thanks.

1.5v are original bulbs in the PK2, so the Tsunami comes ready with 1.5v light pads. I don't see why you can't hook them up.
The only thing different I do is change out the bulbs for LED's.

Does polarity matter with the speaker terminals on the decoder?

Thanks,

Cody

Well, it uses a capacitor that is placed into the (+) wire of the speaker, so yes.

There shouldn't be an inline capacitor on the Tsunami decoder, so with a single speaker, polarity does not matter. You do need to observe polarities when installing multiple speakers though.

OK, stand corrected, the older soundtraxx decoders and some others that did require a capacitor would have been placed on the (+) wire. Tsunami is a different animal.
