Hi All:

Here is my next project. It is being built for Robert Seckler's Dutchess Valley and Hudson RR. He asked me to build a structure for his RR and I agreed. so here are some photos of what you get in the kit.

Haven't decided on colors or signs yet. It may come out looking different. I will probably use some artistic license.

Hi Wes:

Thanks. I opened the walls last night. I'm still working on colors and new signage.

Hi Karl

Looking forward to your build!!! I enjoy them very much. Have you used BEST kits before and do you recomend them? They have listed some kits I'd be interested in but haven't had any experience with them and wouldn't want to waste my money. Thanks

Mark

Hi Mark:

This is my first BEST kit. The quality and packaging looks just fine. I haven't read the instructions yet but they look pretty well done.

Hi All:

Walls and windows are painted, A&I is added, And dry-brushing is finished. No bracing has been added at this time. Notice there is no warping of the walls. I never brace my walls before painting and weathering. Next I will add 1/16 square corner trim then the bracing.

Here's a progress photo.

HI Karl, mighty fine looking so far! Thanks for taking us along on a step-by-step basis. I've never built a BEST kit before but I understand that they are real beauties. Looks like you're having fun with this one. Keep up the great work! [:-thumbu][:-thumbu]

Hi Mike:

Yeah it's a pretty nice kit. It is my first BEST kit. Robert gave me some choice and I chose this one as I really like all the lines it has. Thanks for the compliments.
