Listen I do not want any trouble, I do not want any issues with the guys at Atlas that will find their way here and that want to throw shots at me for their own personal reasons. For the record I have been a member here for more than 4 years. If you do not like me, that is cool with me, but I have no ill will towards anyone because I have bigger fish to fry in life than to be all bent out of shape from online scuffles. So just chill and smile. :) Leave 2006 in the past.

My thing has been and always will be Youtube to share what I do and how I do it. I do a lot of my videos and HOW TO's for the Generation X but all the ages are welcome. Yes I am here but it's not on a regular basis. So if you are here from Atlas, welcome and have fun! Peace out

Big Al:

Welcome here. I only know you from YouTube and the one time I bumped into you at AA, but you are a stand-up guy.

I'm more active at kitforums.com, you are also welcome to come on over there and check it out. It looks different, but has many similar topics of interest to you.

Never heard of you 'til I saw you mentioned on the sinking SS Atlas. But saw your post on the new SPF thread here....with the Atlas Taurus, and Rob (or whoever)...LOL...on the stretcher...LOL.

Hey...good modeling trumps grumps every time.

Keep your sense of humor whenever modeling is my motto. And yeah...forget the past. Tomorrow is another day.

Thanks for your contribution on the inaugural SPF. You are good...

I have such a great time with model railroading and do so much of what I do for the Younger generation. My focus is about the next generation but as I said before I do what I do for ALL ages and groups. I am very humble and have been for years. I still do say what I feel but I am just a LITTLE BIT less confrontational than I used to be. :) I just do not argue or debate with people anymore, there is no need to really argue my point because if people disagree with you it rarely matters what you say because they will still disagree with you. So now I just do not waste my time trying to get my point across arguing or going back and forth. I feel it is perfectly OK to disagree with each other. We will never all get along and we will regularly disagree with each other so that is just how it is. I accept the fact that I am not liked by all and that my biggest fan base is younger model railroaders. I am perfectly OK with that and love the fact that the next generation is my biggest fan base. Thank you all!

You had issues on the Atlas forum?? Actually I do remember some of the threads quite well. Don't seem like it's been that long ago though. Don't expect to have any issues from me. I enjoy seeing your work. Especially some of your graffitied cars.

Here is some graffiti on a GP38-2 I am working on. I did the one on top back in December and the one on the bottom is being done for someone. Once I am done with the tagging I will weather the model and send it to the owner. They both have the negatives. The top one is an Athearn with the correct paint job but the rear grilles are wrong and has the wrong trucks.
The bottom one is an Atlas and certainly more accurate with the right trucks, fuel tank and grilles but it does not have the lighting bolt paint scheme.

Side B Prototype picture

Side A completed tonight

Side B half done tonight because I have to resize the graffiti on the left side to be a bit smaller than I drew it.

This is what happens to guests locomotives when they run on Al's layout

Seriously Al, that's some pretty good work on the tagging.

I can understand freight cars getting tagged because they may sit in sidings or spurs for a length of time.

But where does UP park a GP38-2 to where it gets such a massive tagging?

Parked on a industrial branch after the crew outlawed or in a outlaying yard parked behind freigh cars over a weekend..

I seen a picture of a old BN caboose that was tagged.
