Boy, a number of manufacturers have been focusing on waterfront scenes lately. Trend among layout builders? While they wouldn't work on our layout, they sure would make great dioramas. Eager to follow along.

I would very much be willing to jump in on a group build, of this beautiful kit, in the fall. I am working on a FSM kit, Frankiln Watchworks, and then have the summer stuff, but will be ready to go in the fall........

Looks like this fall we're going to have a really interesting thread to watch with some excellent craftsman creating some magic with what appears to be a great kit. Can't wait.

If the question was thrown towards me, I will be purchasing the lighting kit. I will be picking up the kit from Dario at the Ottawa Train Expo show. Greg, I will be building a kit at a table with Mike Hamer, Barry Innes and another gentleman. Looking forward to the show and I look forward to shaking hands and making new friends...........

I picked up this kit today. I am speechless. I cannot wait for the fall, to start this kit. Over the summer, I will make up the base, while the weather is nice. I will, of course, provide photo's of my progress.

Fantastic diorama!
It will be great following your thread, Greg especially after the great job you did on the 1151 Grove street!

I picked up this beautiful kit on Saturday at the Ottawa Train Expo. Saturday night I started it. Well, not really, but I did open it and check everything out. I guess that's a start. Can't wait for the fall to start this one.......oh yes, one other thing. I have noticed how cool diorama's are when then they have lighting added to the structures. So, I will be purchasing the lighting kit for this model...............

My kit came the other day. Wow! This should be a fun build. Greg, the lighting instructions mention a lighting thread that you did on the forum some time ago. Do you know where I could find it?
